How much does ERP implementation cost in India?
The licence is only part of an ERP bill. Setup, data migration, training, hosting and per-user fees decide what you really pay over three years. Here is how to compare options on total cost. We use Stack18 Business OS pricing as a worked example, since it is published and one-time.

| Cost part | What it covers | Question to ask the vendor |
|---|---|---|
| Licence or build | The software itself: per-user, per-module, or a one-time price. | Does the price grow with users or years? |
| Setup and configuration | Workflows, roles, approvals, templates and GST settings. | Is configuration included or billed by the day? |
| Data migration | Masters, opening balances and history from Tally, Excel or another ERP. | What import is included, and what is extra? |
| Training and go-live | Live and recorded training, and support through launch. | How much hypercare follows go-live? |
| Running costs | Hosting, support, upgrades and third-party usage like WhatsApp. | Who pays for each, and where does it run? |
The licence model changes the three-year cost.

Build and handover
The system is built, set up and handed over, with nothing to unlock later.
Your own cloud
Deployment on your own cloud account or servers, not a shared multi-tenant system.
Data import
Standard import from Excel, CSV or your current tool, with Tally Migration and Sync in the Launch edition.
Training and hypercare
Team training, live and recorded, then 30 days of hypercare after go-live.
Documentation
Documentation handed over with the system.
GST, e-invoicing and e-way bills should not cost extra.
Business OS includes GST accounting, e-invoicing with IRN and QR, e-way bills and TDS, with GSTR-ready reports. With some products these arrive as paid add-ons, so check the line items before you compare totals.
