All Zoho CRM plans and sources

At the entry level the two cost the same. Our arithmetic on reported annual prices for 25 users gives about $4,200 a year on both Pipedrive Lite and Zoho Standard ($14 x 25 x 12). The gap opens one tier up: Pipedrive Growth at $39 is about $11,700 a year, against $6,900 for Zoho Professional at $23. At the AI tier, Pipedrive Premium at $59 is about $17,700 against $12,000 for Zoho Enterprise at $40.

The tiers do not line up one for one, so compare by feature. Pipedrive starts automations on Growth at $39, while Zoho offers Blueprint process automation from Professional at $23. One guide estimates a team needing automation, AI and reporting would pay about $40 a user on Zoho against roughly $99 plus add-ons on Pipedrive. Treat that as one source's scenario and price your own needs.

Pipedrive sells many extras separately, such as Campaigns, LeadBooster and top-up packs reported at $50 a month, while Zoho bundles Zia AI in Enterprise. Prices changed on both sides recently, with Pipedrive Premium reported at $49 in earlier guides, so confirm current terms.

Considerations

Pipedrive vs Zoho CRM: implementation, ecosystem, AI and security.

Ease of implementation and usability

We did not test setup or migration for either product. Guides describe Pipedrive as ready for selling within days and Zoho as needing more configuration, especially for custom modules and Blueprint workflows. Both offer a trial, so import the same ten live deals into each.

Integrations and ecosystem

One listing reports Zoho CRM has 500 or more integrations, with the strongest fit alongside other Zoho applications. Integration coverage for Pipedrive was not assessed in the sources reviewed, so check its marketplace for the tools you use. Neither product's API limits were reviewed.

AI capabilities

Zoho's Zia is reported from the Enterprise edition and bundled into the seat price. Pipedrive lists AI email tools and reports on Lite, deal and activity AI on higher tiers, and one listing mentions a native MCP server. Guides lean towards Zoho for AI depth at a lower price, but we did not test output quality.

Security, deployment and administration

Pipedrive reports enforced two-factor authentication on Lite and security rules on Ultimate. Zoho lists sandbox testing, field encryption and approval workflows on Enterprise. We did not review certifications or data residency, so request current security documentation from both vendors.

Strengths and limitations

Pipedrive and Zoho CRM: each option, in balance.

Pipedrive

Strengths and limitations from the profile

Strengths
  • Per-seat pricing based on users rather than contact volume makes costs predictable for stable teams.
  • The entry plan covers customisable pipelines and deal tracking at a reported low per-seat price.
  • A clear four-plan ladder makes it easy to see where automations and forecasting begin.
Limitations
  • There is no permanent free plan, only a trial.
  • Automations are reported to need the Growth plan or above, so the cheapest plan lacks them.
  • Add-ons such as Campaigns and LeadBooster are priced separately and can raise the total cost.
  • Per-seat pricing means the bill rises with every user added, and geo-pricing makes published figures differ by region.

Zoho CRM

Strengths and limitations from the profile

Strengths
  • A permanent free edition for up to three users lets very small teams start without a trial deadline.
  • Entry paid pricing is reported among the lowest for a full sales CRM, with unlock points clearly tied to editions.
  • Each edition adds specific named capabilities, which makes it easier to see what an upgrade buys.
  • Zia AI and custom modules are available on Enterprise, giving a path to AI and customisation without leaving the product.
Limitations
  • Per-user prices are only part of the cost: sources point to add-ons, storage, phone and configuration time.
  • Month-to-month billing is reported to cost noticeably more than annual billing.
  • Key capabilities such as Blueprint and Zia AI sit on higher editions, so choosing too low an edition can force a mid-year upgrade.
  • Sources disagree on some edition details, such as trial length and where territory management starts, so verify the features you need.
